Glossary

Left Fold	Opens like a book.
Top Fold	Folds at the top, and sits like a tent.
Landscape	Means the page is wider than it is tall.
Portrait	Page is taller than it is wide.
A4	A standard paper size - 297x210 mm. About the size of a page in a telephone book.
A5	148x210mm - Half the size of an A4.
A6	105x148mm - Half the size of an A5.
A3	297x420mm - Twice the size of an A4.
DL	99x210mm - One third the size of an A4. The usual size of business letter envelopes.
Gloss	A shiny, reflective surface.
Matt	A flat, dull surface. Good for writing on.
Silk	Surface has a sheen. Somewhere between matt and gloss.
PDF	Portable Document Format. A file format developed by Adobe for describing what a document should look like.
